Volunteer: Blenheim Cherryfest

Become a volunteer!

Did you know that Blenheim Cherryfest is organized by the local BIA and community volunteers. These folks help with many activities behind the scenes and even at Cherry Central! As the event approaches, we are now looking for some more volunteers to help with activities during the three-day event. Whether you can give a few hours, one day, or all three days, your support helps keep this beloved community tradition local, affordable, and available for everyone to enjoy.

No special experience is required, just a positive attitude and a desire to help your community.

Be a part of the volunteer team that helps bring Blenheim Cherryfest to the community. It can be as little as a few hours for one day, or even help across multiple days of the event - there is a role for everyone!

Volunteer Positions

There are a wide range of volunteer roles available, including:

• Barricade setup and take down

• Helping at the Cherry Central Booth

• Supporting activities such as the pie baking and eating competitions

• Setting up and taking down important pieces such as the wheelchair ramps

Some roles are light duty and some require moderate to heavy lifting. Our event coordinator will make sure you are placed in position that you are comfortable with doing and during times when you are available.
