This announcement showcases a major investment by the company into the future of their seed corn processing packaging plant. This past weekend was a busy and magical one in Blenheim and the surrounding area, with multiple signature events and several smaller ones all coming together to create a weekend of wonder and fun for people of all ages.

The festivities kicked off on the evening of Friday, December 5, 2025, with the Blenheim Santa Claus Parade. From farm, to family, to businesses and community organizations, the event featured approximately 75 floats that showcased the diversity of life in the region. Thousands lined the streets to take in the show and cheer on the parade entries, including the main attraction: Santa Claus!

The Downtown Blenheim Business Improvement Area (BIA) is thrilled to announce the return of the community’s beloved Home for the Holidays shopping event, taking place November 20, 21, and 22, 2025. This three-day celebration invites residents and visitors alike to shop, explore, and connect with local businesses while checking off everyone on their holiday shopping list.

The spirit of the season is coming alive in Downtown Blenheim as the community prepares to kick off one of its most magical annual traditions, the Blenheim Festival of Lights. The festival’s official launch event will take place immediately following the Blenheim Santa Claus Parade on Friday, December 5, 2025, marking the start of a month-long celebration of light, music, and holiday cheer.

The new Blenheim Medical Health Hub opened their doors to the community recently to show the incredible progress made towards making this dream a reality. Located at Hyland Drive, Blenheim, Ontario, the Health Hub is setting to take local healthcare services to the next level. This new centre, driven by the Blenheim Medical Health Foundation, promises to be more than just a clinic; it will be a cornerstone of health, wellness, and community connection.

Kids will have the opportunity to participate in a series of hands-on activities and safety stations that emphasize key biking skills such as proper signaling, helmet fitting, checking equipment, and understanding traffic signs. The event also includes a guided riding course where participants can test their skills in a safe, closed setting under the watchful eye of local volunteers and safety experts.

The town of Blenheim will be a very busy spot on Saturday, May 31.

The Blenheim Rotary Club will host Discover Blenheim, a free event, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Residents start the day by stopping by Talbot Trail Place to pick up a map from the Rotary Club members.

Saturday, June 21, 2025, is Military Heritage Day at the Chatham-Kent Municipal Airport. Discover planes with vintages spanning 1940 to 1970, WW1 re-enactment group, a wide variety of military vehicles, a salute to the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands, food trucks, and more!
