📍 Location: Downtown Blenheim by the Public Library entrance - 16 George Street, Blenheim
⏰ Time: 4 divisions, starting at 1:00 pm. Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration. Details below:
Divisions
The contest will be divided into 4 age groups. These will be divided as follows:
Ages 6-8: will begin at 1:00 pm
Ages 9-12: will begin at 1:25 pm
Ages 13-17: will begin at 1:45 pm
Ages18 & Up: will begin at 2:10 pm
Contest Rules
Contestants will compete against each other. The object is to be the first contestant to eat an entire pie down to the tin. Completion of the pie will be decided by the judges, not the contestants.
Hands will not be allowed and will be behind contestant’s back
The winner will be the person who consumes the most amount of pie during the allotted 5 minutes or the shortest amount of time whichever comes first
In the event of a tie whichever one of the tied contestants who ends up with the best pie smile will be announced as the overall winner for that specific contest
Any visible signs of sickness will cause disqualification
Waiver must be signed by contestant prior to contest
Children under 18 must have a signed permission entry form signed by a parent or guardian
Volunteers and Employees are not eligible to participate
